    Food container mould has a wide range of uses, such as ice cream boxes, cheese boxes, juice cups, etc. Food container has high requirements for mould size and processing equipment precision. Any processing link may bring fatal impact to food container, which may cause deformation, injection moulding filling difficulties, wall thickness exceeding the size requirements, or overweight and other problems. So how to better mould food containers?

    • 1. Achieve the requirements of food container mould steel, the hardness of the core steel should not be less than HRC45 degrees. The material of food container mould is generally S136 stainless steel, the hardness can reach HRC45-52.
    • 2. Optimize according to the thickness and characteristics of the product. If the product has a large flat area, you can check the warpage and deformation in advance through Moldflow
    • 3. Using four processing steps, rough machining-vacuum quenching-finishing-core component inspection.
    • 4. The cooling effect of food container mould should be sufficient, because ultra-thin products have higher requirements for injection moulding process, so sufficient cooling effect is essential.
    • 5. Four test methods are used for food container mould testing, high-speed, low-speed, high-pressure, and low-pressure testing. The test time is not less than 4 hours.
